Well it is 4:30 in the morning and we are heading home from Sunset Beach. More later, but we decided that this will be our last year for awhile at Sunset Beach. Lots of tears from me as we departed.

Just outside of Portsmouth, Ohio. We saw lots of lumber yards along OH-73 and coals cars along the train tracks and river. Very scenic drive! Glad we went this way. We will be heading into Kentucky, West Virginia, and Virginia. Then we will be staying just inside the North Carolina line.

Well, we are off on our way to North Carolina! Heading down I-74 toward cincy. We are taking a different route this year. Heading through virginia and west virginia I think. Then to Mt. Airy, NC to stay all night. Mt. Airy is the home of Andy Griffith. I'm hoping maybe we see some Mayberry attractions.
Well, heading down the road. It's 5:46am. Kids are awake and we hope they fall asleep soon. :)

Sarah and Jackson go to the dentist!

Sarah and Jackson had a wonderful trip to the dentist today! No cavities and they both got their faces painted. Sarah is a bonjour butterfly (from Fancy Nancy) and Jackson is a scary monster! Or mon as he likes to call it! Too cute!

How cool! Flying over the village of West Clay pool. We watched the fighter jets circle waiting to head down to the speedway for the opening ceremonies of the Indianapolis 500. Unbelieveably awesome!!!

Today is May 22. Justin was 10 months old yesterday. He is crawling all over the place. He has started to pull himself up on anything that will hold him. Rolling chairs and drawers don't always work so well, but tables have come to be one of his favorite places to be.

Sarah graduated from Downey Preschool on May 14th. She had attended Downey from January 2008-May 2010. It was a wonderful place for her to start her education. I am sad we will not be back. We have decided to send Jackson to Our Lady of Lourdes for preschool. I'm nervous but I think he will probably do fine.

I have found out that I'm likely going to be back at Lowell next year. There was some question about it but now, it's about 99.9 % sure that I will be back.

Jackson is totally boy! This morning we couldn't find him in the house or in the yard. The dog was out in the front yard and who happened to be sitting in the front seat of the Suburban...Jackson of course. Jon is trying to talk him into changing his name to Jack or Junior. So far Jackson is sticking with Jackson.

We just had a patio poured in our backyard. It looks really nice. It will be a great area to entertain this summer!
Looking forward to a great summer! Only 8 more days of school are left!

Here is sweet Justin! He is happy eating his cereal. He has 5 teeth and cutting on more. He isn't crawling yet but is a rolly polie guy and loves his brother and sister. Sweet Baby Justin or Baby Ju as Jackson still calls him.

I'm trying my luck at blogging. Although it is more for my own benefit, maybe people will want to read it.
I love to journal about my family, funny things my children do, and the trips that we take. I'm hoping maybe a blog will help me stay on top of this digitally without worrying about the paper/pencil aspect of blogging.

So here goes!

March 25, 2010--We are on spring break. Not a whole lot has been happening the last 2 weeks. Just enjoying some time off with the kids. I have participated 5 times in the last 5 classes at Sarah's preschool. It was fun, but Friday, I get a day off from it. Glad about that. The kids are just having fun being lazy with mommy. We HAVE to clean today! Goal for today is to get some of the house picked up...disaster area!
Well, as lame as this is, it is a start and I hope to add more as the weeks/months/years go on!
