Something very exciting has happened to Jackson. He has learned to ride his bike without training wheels!!! Yeah!

Another great day. We went to the zoo today with Misaki and Eriko. It has been so nice to have them here. I know mom will miss them when they go home and I'm sure the kids will too! Of course I will too. They are very sweet. We are hanging out at home and I'm trying to figure out how to send photos from my iPad to my blog. We'll see if this works. Jackson and Sarah are enjoying their bikes on this beautiful day! It is in the 70's and bright and sunny. A welcome change from the 100 degree temperature days we have had.

A great afternoon at Southeastway Park! Finally, a day that isn't 100 degrees! The high today is only 79 I think. It is absolutely beautiful!!

So, here are the kiddos on the first day of school! I'm happy to report that both Sarah and Jackson got on the bus on Monday. Tuesday was a different story. Sarah got on the bus, but Jackson came off kicking and screaming! UGH. So, after poor Jerry had to take Jackson to school kicking and screaming and his teacher had to pull him off of Jerry kicking and screaming, a deal was made after school. Jackie promised Jackson a dollar if he got onto the bus. Wednesday came and after some bribery, Jackson got on the bus. Hoping for an uneventful Thursday and Friday!
