So we are on the way home from Sandusky, Ohio. We came up here for the weekend to attend Sarah Kuebler's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding. But before the wedding we managed to squeeze in a visit with Great-grandma Esther at St. Francis and then we drove out to the farm for another quick visit with Barb and Walter. Whirlwind visits but it was fun! After our quick trip to Tiffin, we headed to Sandusky. We checked into our hotel, Maui Sands Resort. It is a waterpark hotel, which is becoming one of our favorite ways to travel. The kids had a ball playing for about 1 1/2 hours. Then we got ready for the wedding.
We headed to the wedding at Lyman Harbor, which is right on Lake Erie. Justin slept through the entire wedding and the first part of the reception.
The wedding itself was beautiful. Sarah looked gorgeous. She and Matt gave out sunglasses as one of their wedding favors. Too cute and the kids liked that!
We headed inside to the reception where we enjoyed chatting with Jim, Leslie, and Joe. Then the bridal party came in and Justin took this cue and puked all over Mom! I'm so sorry Mom! I got him to the restroom. It was awful. It was everywhere. I ended up going back to the hotel with mom but when we arrived I got a phone call that said Justin had puked all over Jon. Happy day. Everyone else was coming back with Jon. Ugh.
He ended up being sick 3 more times. So I stayed in the room with him and Jon took Jackson and Sarah to the waterpark where he met Mom, Jenny, and Suzanne for some waterpark fun. I traded with him around 8:30 and managed to ride each slide one time.
Aftet our waterpark fun we got the kids to bed and Jon, the girls, and Mom went to the bar to have a drink. Then Jon came up around 11:00 and I went down. We stayed down until about 12:15. Eric, Sarah, Tony, and Judy showed up around 11:45 so we spent a little time with them. They were so understanding about our little fiasco. I apprecuated that!
Justin was up around 1:30 and he was thirsty. He then went back to bed until 6:00. I am tired, but overall slept pretty good. The kids had bunk beds so they loved that part. Everything else was pretty nice. We are almost to Indiana. Another fun Ohio weekend.
