On Thursday morning, we put on our swim suits and braved the nasty weather forecast (thunderstorms forecasted all day) and headed to the water park, Blizzard Beach. The kids, Jon and I enjoyed this park the last time we were here, but I couldn't ride many rides because I was pregnant with Justin. So we were very excited to enjoy almost everything the park had to offer! Justin even rode some of the big rides! We started out parking the stroller at Tike's Peak, which is the area dedicated to those guests 48 inches and shorter! Awesome for our children. There is a tube slide they all could go down by themselves and body slides for them also. Even a little tiny slide area that Justin absolutely loved. I brought my camera this time to the water park. Last time I counted on the photo pass people to be there, but they were not there this time! So glad I took my camera this time!!! We enjoyed the baby area then ventured out to the big kid rides. Justin was even able to ride the big tube ride by himself and the body slides too! Jackson and Sarah enjoyed trying to cross rope monkey bars. They tried to go across with the ropes, standing on "icebergs" in the water. After that, we headed to some more "big kid" tube and body slides. Even Justin could participate. Then we climbed over 100 stairs (Jackson counted) to the "family ride" Teamboat Springs. This was a long ride that all of us were able to ride on! We all hung on tight and headed down a long, windy, slide that spun us around forwards and backwards. Wow!! The big kids rode forward facing tobaggan slides, both curvy and straight. They just had a ball. We enjoyed a leisurely float around the park on the Lazy River and while Sarah and Jon were trying out some bigger slides, Jackson, Justin, and I slid into the gigantic wave pool. At 4:00 (6 hours of water parking later) we were ready to go! We had climbed enough stairs and ridden plenty of slides. We had made the most of our visit to Blizzard Beach! Justin was asleep before we even left the parking lot. We made sure it was an early night for everyone, breakfast with Mickey and the other characters was at 8:20 the very next day!
