Since we were up so late on Tuesday night, we expected the kids to crash on Wednesday morning...not our children! They were up at 7:00. Ugh! I needed more sleep. Oh well we headed over to the ticket office at our hotel to figure out what the rest of our week was going to look like. We decided on a 4 day park pass with the addition of the water park pass. That means we had 4 days at the major theme parks and 4 days at the water parks, DisneyQuest, or other non-major areas. So, really not sure of what to do, we headed to the Hollywood Studios. It was not a disappointing day, but I wish I had mapped things out just a little better. We started out going to the Voyage of the Little Mermaid show. It was a fun show with puppets and live performers. It also had special effects of bubbles and water. The kids enjoyed this, but Jackson had seen the Little Einstein characters hanging out across the way and was disappointed that we weren't going to meet them. After the Mermaid show, we went across the way to the Disney Junior show. This had interactive activities for the kids and of course, had the characters they love! The shows, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Little Einsteins, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, and Handy Manny were all part of the show! Justin danced and was so excited as was Jackson. Sarah even enjoyed the show! After that, we went over to the Toy Story Mania ride and waited 45 minutes for the ride, which proved to be worth the wait. The wait was also fun! There was a life sized Mr. Potato Head which spoke to the guest in the line. There were huge toy models everywhere. Gigantic crayons, mammoth Lincoln Logs, large dice, cards, and dominos decorated the line area. Huge game boards decorated the ceilings. It was a great ride! The ride was a 3-D shooting/arcade game. Everyone agreed, it would have been fun to do again, but we didn't want to wait in a long line again. We decided the kids needed some play time so we went over to the Honey I Shrunk the Kids set and played for awhile. We decided the kids were about done and needed to head home, but of course, as in every Disney park, there is a parade, which included the Pixar Pals. So, knowing Buzz, Woody, and Jessy, would probably make an appearance, we hung out. The parade, like all Disney parades, was great fun! They began, by getting people out in the middle of the street dancing to help out with the pre-parade anticipation. Sarah, got out into the street and danced her little heart out! Proud mommy of course taped a lot of it! The parade started and we enjoyed seeing the Toy Story friends and characters from The Incredibles, Up, Monster's Inc., A Bug's Life, and more! The music of course was great too! I Don't Want to Work! I Just Want to Bang on These Drums All Day! After that, we headed home. Dinner was hamburgers and tator tots in the hotel room. After that, we decided to check out our pool here at the hotel. We spent about 2 hours enjoying the pool before we decided it was time to head to bed! 2 great days down! 6 wonderful days to go!!!
