We rolled into Amarillo around 4:30pm after driving since 6:00am and being up at 5:30am. Jon is a trooper. He is still trying to get me to drive to which I say, "No thank you!" I sat in the back and watched movies on the phones, tablets, iPads...I prepped for this trip! I have watched 2 new movies and rewatched 1 and in the middle of 2 others.
Amarillo! We jumped right in and went to the Big Texan Steakhouse. We got picked up in a Limo to go to the restaurant! We rode the very short distance and then enjoyed a wonderful meal!
Sarah and I got too brave and tried jalapeno peppers. At first they were not hot. But the third bite burned us up! Sarah was somewhat freaked out by this.
I had steak, as did Jon. The kids optet not to have steak, but everything they had was delicious!
