Today we left Arizona around 10am. It was so pleasant and we enjoyed the cooler temperatures. The prediction for Needles, California was 105 today 108 tomorrow and 115 on Wednesday. Yuck!
Well we also read some pretty terrible reviews of the park we were heading to which also made us nervous.
On the way to Needles, we made a stop at In-n-Out in western Arizona. They have a very limited menu amd overall was good. Food was quick and tasted good. This was on the kids list of things to do when we got out here. So yeah! We did it!!
We finally crossed into California around 3:30. We had our motorhome "inspected." They just asked us if we had plants or fruit on board. Just the Walmart kind of fruit. I am assuming they don't want plants coming in that will mess with the native plants.
We passed. Thank goodness.
We headed to the resort. Neither one of us were counting on being too impressed. We were pleasantly surprised. The lots are huge and the pool us beautiful. The landscape is also gorgeous.
It is on the Colorado River! So tomorrow we will check that out.
Wednesday is Anaheim and Thursday and Friday are DISNEY!!
