On Wednesday, we went on an outdoor adventure to the Palo Duro Canyon. I was so excited! Jon booked us a jeep tour. It was quite a beautiful day and the views were amazing!! Our guide drove the Hummer down into the canyon and enjoyed a very rugged terrain! We even got to see some longhorn cattle and calves in the canyon!
The ride itself made Justin a bit uneasy. There were some points in which we drove almost straight down into parts of the canyon on very rough and rocky trails. We have some additional stories to tell about this trip! You will have to ask Jon or the kids all about!
Afterwards we ate at a 50's diner in Canyon, TX. It was cute. Food was OK.
Canyon, TX is the home of West Texas A&M University. Sarah declared she might want to go there. She decided after about 5 minutes it wasn't the college for her.
We are heading to a National Park today! Kids are overly excited! 😂
We also got to pet some horses and a little donkey.
