Today we are driving to Tucson from Anaheim. It's over 400 miles. Thankfully we are 20 miles away from Tucson. We left Anaheim at 5am and were shocked at the traffic and backups already on the interstate coming into the LA area.
We ate breakfast in the motorhome around 8 just inside the AZ border.
As we drove we decided to take an alternate route to avoid Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa, etc traffic. We took I-8 and drove through the Sonoran Desert National Monument. It was so cool to see so many giant cacti!! We are almost to Tucson. We need a break from this drive!!
